AETHER / THEREMIN
LOCAL SIGNAL

CAMERA THEREMIN · FOUR-LAYER LOOPER

See your hands.
Shape the air.

Each hand is a voice. Point higher for higher notes, open your hand to play, close a fist to rest, push toward the camera to swell. Every note you play echoes and slowly fades, so a few waves become a piece of music.

Your camera stays on this device. No microphone, upload, account, analytics, or saved hand data.

Best with wired headphones or speakers (Bluetooth adds delay) and light on your face and hands.

On a phone, prop it up in landscape so both hands can stay in frame.

Each hand is an independent voice. Your index fingertip points at one of eleven pentatonic notes, higher finger for higher notes. Open the hand to play and make a fist to rest. Push the hand toward the camera for louder, pull back for softer. Horizontal position shifts the tone from warm to bright. Pinch thumb and index on either hand to operate the looper when layers are shown. Pointer, arrow-key, Enter, and Space controls remain available.
